Gong xi fa cai, fa tian cai~! I can't believe it's already Chinese New Year, I don't feel any excitement though. I remember Chinese New Year being an event I looked forward to. It was always fun because it's 3 days of public holiday, and you get to eat tons of good food, not to mention the red packets that will be given and the money that's put into the bank later on. Then there's all the colourful decor and lights that will be put up along the roads...
Can't really feel that excitement anymore though. Maybe it's because I'm no longer as interested in the pretty colours and collection of red packets. Of course, money is nice to have, but I lost the thrill of collecting them from relatives I see only once a year. Haiis..
Oh well, went to church today. A chinese pastor came to preach on how we as Christians can celebrate Chinese New Year. There were a few good points that is stuck in my head. He even shared how we can reach out to our relatives without seeming religious and all that.
I am seriously unlucky to have my period come today man. During the sermon I had bad cramps and it got worse after service. I skipped lunch and napped at home so I won't feel the pain. Ugh... It's not so bad now, but it's not gone either. =S Haiiis.
I shall be off now. Dad's opening the house to Poiemians from 10.30am onwards. I think we'll figure out some place to meet and bring the lot of you over. Please bring movies and games. Otherwise, it'll be quite boring. Haha. See you guys on Tuesday then =) Toodles.

I got my O level results on Friday! AND I GOT 12PTS. WOOOOTT!!! Thank You Lord for the result!! Char and I went with Gissy and Rochelle and Hung to eat oyster omlette, then we met up with Cheryl and Jiaen to go to the beach and SCRREEAAAAMMM!!!!! AHAHAHAA!!!! WHEE~!
We also attempted to make silent clips, but it wasn't much of a sucess... =S Oh well, we can always try it another time. Heh. If you want, go to Jiaen's blog to check it out because I'm too lazy to even link to it from here.
I went to school at about 10+ am to wait for the release of the results. Though that wasn't as crazy as my friends who went to school for morning assembly and joined in for the morning exercise! I chatted with friends and a few teachers, and visited the good ol' art room again. Haha. Man, I really miss my secondary school! Oh my, could it be that I'm getting...
OLD?!?!
Nah..... hahahaa!
So I gave a short thanksgiving today at the end of service, only to find out that I was very soft, which was weird cos i was speaking into the mic! Hm... Oh well, now I got to think about which JC to go to next. My mind is pretty much set on MJC, but I still got to wait for God's response. Right then, it's dinner time! Off I go.. toodles!

Whoop! I'm in a happy mood right now because i just had STINGRAY! Thanks to my dear nai nai who cooked it. Wahahahaha. There are a few things coming up or has already come up, so i thought i ought to share them =)
Firstly,
my dead toenail came out!!!! Finally, after waiting for about 2 months, it's out! My toe looks kinda weird though, since the new nail has only grown halfway =S I daren't wear shoes anymore, until the new nail has grown back at least. So I'll be wearing slippers to school! It feels a bit weird, but i don't quite mind it since SLIPPERS ARE BETTER THAN SHOES!
Secondly, it's JiaEn's birthday this week! Woots~ Congrats girl! You're another year older and wiser!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
Thirdly, I'm going to get a
new bike! Actually, our family is going to get a new bike... It'll be shared. I think it's better this way, since I'm the only one who's really interested in cycling. Ben is interested in cycling too, so Dad is going to repair Ben's bike since it's fairly new. Now all we need to do is remove the bike chain...
Dad found a way to lose weight and travel to work, it's not going to happen though. The conversation went something like this:-
Dad: ... then when we have a bike to use, i can cycle to church...!
Me: and get fit!
Dad: yeah, precisely. Unfortunately there are no shower facilities in the church.
Me: How about the ones in the new extension building?
Dad: Those aren't really shower facilities you know.. when you shower in there, you flood the whole floor then the toilet cannot use..
Me: then what about the school?
Dad: yes, the school should have, but by the time i reach there, there'll be students. Not very nice la...
Me: oh.
So close, yet so far. I wonder how else my dad will lose weight.
Fourthly,
O level results are coming
out this Friday!!! AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! I'm a mix of nervousness and excitement. Don't think I'll be able to focus in school this whole week, I still need the distraction though, so I shan't pon. Heh. Then Mon to Thurs no school! Apparently, we need that many days off to do the JAE exercise. Huh... Oh well, I don't argue against free holidays.
This month is such a happening month, after all that, there'll be Chinese new year and my piano exam. Oh oh oh! Daddy's birthday is next week as well! AAAAHH! I just realised it man... Oh well, off to plan a mini surprise for him! Sssssshhh....
That's about it for now... toodles!
